So recently I have been neglecting a lot of things, including my artwork here. Between work, school, podcasting, friends, MLP:FiM stuff, reading, writing, and the occasional Lets Plays (which I really have let go) I haven't done much.

In fact the truth is I have been a little down lately plus with my oral surgery two - three weeks ago and a recent gift to myself that broke fairly quickly, I haven't actually been all that happy.

I even stopped doing my Let's Play videos which I loved doing; in fact if your aware of them you can find them on Youtube here ->www.youtube.com/channel/UCeKJj… and I am also on twitch but it's a better bet to see the Youtube selection.

So far I was doing Final Fantasy 6 - International Edition for GBA emulated and was planning on doing another game as a blind-play through sometime soon.

Also I stopped my photography over the past two months, mostly because its been far to cold to go outside and take any good shots. I hope to get some nice spring photos when I can however.

Anyway just wanted to say sorry about all that.

Hey everyone, my name is Daniel Hopkins and I am a gamer, a friend, a brony, a furry, an artist, and so much more. For the bronies I am also a podcaster of Lunar Echoes. [ sites.google.com/site/lunarech…] and I am pretty involved with some small time charities in my area and have been trying to get some good words for the Bronies both online and in my area.

However I had sudden oral surgery for 2 abscessed teeth (including my wisdom teeth and molars) on 2/6/2015. To do this I was forced to take out an overdraft loan to cover some of the expenses, however the loan I took out will have to be paid back in full out of my next pay check (2/12/2015) plus 130$ fee, effectively dropping my account to -300$!

I need some help to keep a roof over my head as my rent is due next week, and food in my belly until the next two weeks pass. Please help me? I am not asking for much and I am mostly paying for this surgery out of pocket the remaining loan was to pay off the part I lacked as the total paid was roughly 1500$.

Just wanted to give everyone a quick update to who follow me, I know I have not been doing to many of these things lately and I even slacked off doing my video blog on Google+ for a while. I plan on doing something with that sometime soon but it's just been busy for me and with the podcasts and projects I am just a little over whelmed.

Anyway hope you all have a great rest of January and enjoy the central winter time in February.

As true winter rolls ever closer (Dec, 21, 2014) it really makes me turn into a hermit crab of sorts. This year has been a lot of changes and with those changes a lot of good, bad, and in-between things have occurred in my life.

I've gained many friends, had many relationships change, ran two podcasts, started a Twitch TV page for doing Let's Plays Live, annnnnnd on top of ALL of that I managed to survived many frozen days of the year, my own birthday, three colds, a skin rash that was probably stress related, my first and second semesters at college, a convention of people, being broken up with, losing some friends, losing friends trust, gaining some friends, being aimless, and hitting early mid-life crisis.

All in all I'd say I did pretty good for myself and now with the year of 2015 just little over half a month away it really makes me look back on the things I did, didn't do, and wanted to do. So...I decided to do them and give into a hobby to keep me from going bored. And thus I got back into card games, pony cards that is lol, and Pokemon (VCG! AHHH!!) and art!



And pixels...as I love retro video games (I grew up with them) I decided to do some pony art with pixels. I was inspired by playing some video games and I think I did alright, all but one pony turned out the way I had wanted it to and even with a few re-edits I made it cuter and fluffier then ever! I did these for as a test as to whether or not I could do it. Sure its a basic recolor, redesign of an existing blank model but it takes a TON of patients to do these. Now its also true they are not fully 16-bit, the color pallet is actually 32-bit (PSX, Sega Saturn, N64) level but I think its closer to true-color then using the limited 16-bit (SNES, Genesis, Neo Geo) of the older systems. Its closer to the graphics of Castlevania Order of Ecclesia on Nintendo's DSi.

In any case I was thinking about opening minor commissions for these little guys - as it takes me well over 30 minutes to edit one from empty outline to these I am thinking roughly around maybe 5$ each for standard pose and 8$ for special poses, but once I make a few more I will know for sure. Anyway if anyone's interested hit me up; other wise pony on my friends.
